Jeremy Richardson
Jeremy Richardson is an assistant professor of accounting in the Turner School of Accountancy in the Belk College of Business at UNC Charlotte. His primary research interests involve using experimental and qualitative methods to examine the judgment and decision-making of auditors, investors, and managers. Prior to earning his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University, Dr. Richardson worked as Director of Finance for a school district in South Carolina and as an auditor for the public accounting firm Elliott Davis where primarily audited governmental and not-for-profit entities. He is a licensed CPA in the State of South Carolina. Dr. Richardson is a member of the American Accounting Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), The PhD Project, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
